Conservation, Recreation and Education Programs

School Programs:
We offer school programs for pre-k through high school. Programs include learning about bird beaks, Native Americans, and different types of habitats, and are available both in your classroom and as a field trip to the forest preserves. Have a scout looking to earn some badges? We’re here to help! Kendall County Forest Preserve District now offers programs to help Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops earn badges. All badge programs will be held in the forest preserves and are designed to get your scout as close to fulfilling the badge requirements as we can get them! Most scout programs start at $7 per scout, with a $40 minimum. Two or more badge programs can be bundled into one day and troops can take advantage of discounts on bunkhouse and group campsite rates for the night before or following your troop’s program date.
